The tale begins located in future North America.
In the year 2037, Mythological beings now roam the Earth ranging from the ever seductive vampire clans to the heavenly angels descended from Heaven. Although in 2035 the World had reached the peaceful Utopia it long desired eons past, a massive rebellion broke out against the government of the United States of America regarding unlawful dealings taking place beyond closed doors. Now, the country lies in the grip of those with money and power with the laws' once-iron grip in helpless shambles.
Enter the city of Egalis.
In the past 2 years, the crime rate has soared and the
police themselves have no way to control it. Everything from the mundane to the almighty is controlled by the people who walk the streets with a gun at their side. Every time you walk out that door, you feel as if you are being watched by the cold metal of a pistol at your back.
Will you sit back as a civilian and watch the police
hunt down thugs, take arms and become justice itself,
become a common criminal, or join the ever-growing rich mafia?
